Kayla Kaydas

Senior First-Party Paralegal

Born in North Lauderdale, FL, Kayla has over 14 years of experience in the insurance defense industry. Kayla started as a receptionist at an insurance PIP defense firm and worked her way up to a dual role position of paralegal and legal assistant. Kayla organized and conducted initial review of insurance claim files, drafted discovery motions and assisted in trial preparation. Kayla diligently has worked her way up in the legal field to gain the knowledge and experience she offers to assist in our fight against insurance fraud.

After 10 years of dedication to the field, Kayla Kaydas joined our team and is currently a litigation paralegal to two seasoned attorneys with over 400 cases. She manages cases from start to end, assists attorneys in identifying key issues, maintains organization to ensure efficiency of her team, and prepares and files motion practice. Kayla coordinates hearings, depositions, mediations and other Court ordered events, and monitors all court deadlines. She prioritizes important attorney tasks and provides exceptional communication with judges, Court staff, clients and opposing counsel. Additionally, Kayla trains new legal assistants and helps new attorneys with the firm’s procedures expectations and general litigation processes. As our senior litigation paralegal, Kayla Kaydas provides over a decade worth of legal and insurance experience to our firm.
